The Annual ICFP contest is starting today (2PM EDT) and I am anxiously awaiting the revealing of this years problem description. Getting the description and reading over it is probably the most excitement and fun of the entire contest. It's usually something quirky with a fun context (i.e. martians landing or cops and robbers scenarios) and there is something exhilarating about having your brain fire on all cylinders as all the initial (and inevitably wrong) thoughts and strategies run through your mind.

For the third straight year I will be competing in a team with my friend Brock (awwaiid) and for the second year my friend Erik (e2thex). Erik is in Texas this year trying to help out remotely, so that will hamper our white board sessions a bit but I'm sure we can still have a lot of fun. Anyways... more info after I learn a little more :)
